What is an Expert Witness?

By definition, an expert witness is a person who is permitted to testify at a trial because of special knowledge or proficiency in a particular field that is relevant to the case. To be considered an expert and eligible to testify, the judge will ask the private investigator qualifying questions related to their background, education, and experience. At Whitman CSSPI we are considered expert witnesses for 'use of force' cases, blood-spatter evidence, and many other areas of expertise.

Is there a fee for consultation?

No, at Whitman CSSPI we never charge a consulting fee on your initial call with our professional services team. We view this call as a discovery conversation - once we have the details of your unique situation, we will draft a proposal for your review. Our proposals include a road map for the services you require as well as our project costs.
